We have collected all the noteworthy #BeHealth events from the past week for you in order to give you no excuse to not be up to date about Belgian Digital Health:
- On Monday there was a press release by Federal Minister Maggie De Block about the end evaluation of the 24 mHealth pilot projects in scope of AP19 (NL/FR). The press release can be found here in French and in Dutch. In a nutshell, the conclusion is that apps can improve the contact between the patient and caregivers, caregivers can follow-up their patients better and patients are extra motivated to adhere to their treatment.
- Belgian Startup Helpper raises €1.000.000 as reported on Thursday. Read more about this here (NL) and here (EN).
- The Brussels Digital Flagship Digityser announced the organization of a hackathon to tackle the HIV drug resistance issue through data science. Find out more about this great initiative here.
- Artsenkrant reports plans for a new Digital Health incubator in Brussels.
